The legendary Midnight Sun provides not only long days, but a type of light that photographers dream of.

Join us for a day horseback ride, or just stop by the lakeshore and relax or cast a rod into the pristine waters where Arctic grayling
and lake trout live. Watch a beaver build his dam or a bald eagle soaring high overhead.
Listen to the varied sounds of the many different species of waterfowl in the area. Traveling
by horseback offers a superb way to enjoy the sights, the sounds and the feel of the wilderness.
If you're looking for a longer excursion, join one of our multi-day horsepacking trips.
These trips can be customized to suit your needs, and range from overnight to seven days in length.
Ride to the top of a mountain for some breathtaking scenery, listen to an owl hoot from outside the glow of
a cozy campfire, explore the many hidden lakes in the area, learn to pack a horse, or observe wildlife from
a distance. Explore natural game trails with an experienced guide and learn the local lore and history of
the region.
To expand the multi-day adventure possibilities even more, we have cabin and bunkhouse accommodations available, and "ranch stay / pack trip" combinations.
If you're looking for a family-oriented activity either on the weekend or during the week, our picnic ride is ideal. Ride to a
designated picnic site on our gentle, well-mannered horses. roast hot dogs over the campfire while the kids watch the antics of tree squirrels
or try to catch frogs nearby. This is the ultimate relaxing, stress-free trip for the whole family.
We also offer steak dinner rides!. Enjoy a ride along scenic hilltops, through grassy meadows and by small
lakes. Return to our headquarters and indulge in a mouth-watering steak with all the fixings.
About the Area
The Fox Lake / Lake Laberge area contains diverse ecosystems of wetlands (perfect conditions for many species of waterfowl, particularly in the spring),
semi-arid foothills and large areas of new growth from past forest fires. This creates some
excellent habitat for various species of waterfowl (ducks and geese), birds of prey (owls, hawks, eagles), herbivores (elk, deer and moose) and
carnivores (coyotes, wolves and bears). Being in the rain shadow of the coastal mountains, we are blessed by warm, dry summers. You can check both
the current weather
and historic weather averages online.
