Multi day trips are from 3-7 days in length. Trip options include Grizzly Mountain, Pilot Mountain or along the
historic Dawson Trail (also known as part of the Trans Canada Trail). These trips are customized to meet your individual
needs, such as group size, riding experience, specific historic or wildlife interests, etc. All extended pack trips include
a short riding lesson before trip departure to ensure everyone is comfortable and working in harmony with their horse for a
more pleasurable trip.
Complete gear is supplied except for personal gear and sleeping bags. Extra outer clothing or
sleeping bags are available for rent if required for a minimum of $50.00 per day.

Overnight Trip to Grizzly Mountain
This trip takes you to a base camp just below Grizzly Mountain (called Grizzly Mountain by the locals, but actually named Kingston Mountain on a map) after an easy day's ride. Tent camp and cook over a campfire for one night at one of our base camps. Taste some of our famous cowboy coffee and listen to stories around the campfire from local guides. Learn how to care for your horse in a wilderness camp setting and develop a partnership with your 4 legged horse buddy. Enjoy magnificent scenery and some possible wildlife viewing. Ride back to the ranch on the second day.

3 Day Trip into Grizzly Mountain
A great trip for folks with limited vacation time, or as a combo with a canoe trip, etc. This trip gets you high into the mountains for some really spectacular scenery. Ride to a base camp (next to a clear mountain stream) the first day, spend the 2nd day exploring on a day trip from the base camp and ride back to the ranch on the third day.

4 or 5 Day Trip Into Grizzly Mountain
This trip is known for its variety and versatility. It can also be geared to the level of experience of the rider. Arrive at our first base camp (nestled in the spruce trees next to a stream) the first night after an easy day's ride. Ride to the 2nd base camp (beside a lake in a mountain pass) by the second day. Ride and explore the area on a couple different day rides for the next two days, returning to base camp every night. Your guide will outline different day trip options during your stay at our 2nd base camp, and you will get to choose your day trip! Return to the ranch on day 5 with adventure stories in your head and scenic Yukon wilderness pictures on your camera.

5 Day Trip on the Dawson Trail
A perfect trip for the whole family, history enthusiast or first time rider looking for a wide, well groomed trail. This trip departs from the Takhini Hotsprings area and ends at the Braeburn Lodge 5 days later. The trail is part of the old historic Dawson Trail used during the Gold Rush Era in the early 1900's to freight supplies by horse power to Dawson City. Many artifacts can be seen from the trail along the way (for viewing only by travellers on the trail). Old stopping house locations (where stage drivers changed horses and people got a hot meal and place to sleep) can be found along the trail approximately every 25 miles. This trail is also part of the Trans Canada Trail. This is a scenic trail, with small creeks to cross, many small lakes and beautiful views of mountains on either side of the trail, as the trail travels through a large valley. The history of this trail is written all along the way and holds a very unique historical value for the area.

5 day Pack Trip for Teens
August 14-18, 2008
Learn to ride and care for a horse, pack a horse, throw a diamond hitch, spot and identify wildlife, travel in the mountains by horse, build camp fires, tie knots and enjoy the outdoors! Stay in one of our bunkhouses the first night upon arrival to our ranch.On day 2 help pack up the horses and head to our first base camp. Learn to care for your horse in camp, tie knots and enjoy stories around the campfire. Pack up the horses and travel to our second base camp on day 3. Participate in a day ride in the mountains on day 4, spot wildlife, swim in the lake next to base camp and practice proper horse care and handling. Return to the ranch on day 5. Participate in a horseshoe tournament at the ranch before going home.

6 or 7 Day Trip into the Miner's Range
This trip is basically an extension of the 5 day trip into Grizzly Mountain. You will cover more country on horseback on this trip. Ride to the 1st base camp on the first day. Spend the night at the 1st camp then ride on to the high camp (a camp in the middle of a beautiful mountain pass, beside a small crystal clear lake) on the second day. Spend the next the next two days on day rides out from the high camp, returning every night to camp. On day 5 ride on to a spike camp in the Miners Range. Travel on day 6 back to the 1st base camp by a different trail. Camp overnight at the 1st base camp and ride on the 7th day back to the ranch.

Stay 4 days in guest cabin at our ranch and experience another 4 days on a pack trip into Grizzly Mountain.
(Note: this trip can be customized to add longer days on to either the ranch stay portion or the pack trip portion of the trip).
Spend your first 4 days of the trip getting acquainted with your horse in our riding arena, doing day or afternoon rides from the ranch, fishing in our creek or enjoying
a boat trip on Fox Lake.
Experience the 4 day pack trip into Grizzly Mountain on the latter half of your trip. Enjoy viewing wildlife, experience staying in a horse camp, swimmming in a mountain
